中文理解一下:第一段说你要报修,第二段说问题位置和发现时间,第三段说影响,第四段请对方给时间线。这个顺序很适合加拿大租房沟通,因为它礼貌、清楚,也方便对方转给 maintenance team。

常见维修问题英文:不要只会说 broken

1. 漏水 / 水管问题

  • There is a leak under the kitchen sink. 厨房水槽下面漏水。
  • The ceiling has a water stain, and it seems to be getting larger. 天花板有水渍,而且好像在变大。
  • The faucet keeps dripping even when it is turned off. 水龙头关上后还是一直滴水。
  • The toilet is clogged and will not flush properly. 马桶堵了,不能正常冲水。

2. 暖气 / 空调 / 热水

  • The heat is not working in the unit. 房间里的暖气不工作。
  • The temperature has been very low since last night. 从昨晚开始室内温度一直很低。
  • There is no hot water in the bathroom. 浴室没有热水。
  • The air conditioner is making a loud noise. 空调声音很大。

3. 电器 / 厨房设备

  • The fridge is not cooling properly. 冰箱制冷不正常。
  • The stove burner is not working. 炉灶其中一个火眼不工作。
  • The dishwasher is leaking during the cycle. 洗碗机运行时漏水。
  • The washer stops in the middle of the cycle. 洗衣机洗到一半会停。

4. 门锁 / 窗户 / 安全问题

  • The front door lock is loose. 前门门锁松了。

普通维修可以这样写

如果你已经发了 maintenance request,但几天没有回复,不建议直接写 Why haven’t you fixed it?。更有效的做法是:引用之前的日期,说明问题仍然存在,请对方给预计时间。

如果已经约了维修人员,但对方没来:

如果你需要进屋通知:

Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if someone needs to enter the unit.

礼貌升级:一直不修,英文怎么催才不失控

如果问题影响正常居住,或者你已经发了几次都没有明确时间,可以把语气从 friendly follow-up 提升到 firm but polite escalation。关键是:不要骂人,不要威胁;只陈述事实、日期、影响和你希望对方采取的下一步。
