家长会英文最常见说法是 parent-teacher meeting,也常听到 parent-teacher conference。很多中文家长不是不关心孩子,而是一进教室或线上会议就卡住:想问学习进度,却怕听起来像质问;想问朋友关系,又不知道怎么自然开口;想让老师给建议,但只会说 very good、thank you。

问作业和课堂参与:把问题问得具体一点
如果孩子在家说“没作业”,或者你发现作业经常漏交,家长会是很适合问清楚的机会。注意语气不要像投诉,可以用“我想确认一下”的方式。

如果老师建议课后阅读、社区活动或兴趣班,后面常常会接到报名、费用、时间表这些问题。可以顺手保留 社区中心报名英文,因为问 schedule、program fee、waitlist 和 registration 的逻辑很接近。
如果听不懂老师的反馈,这样打断最自然
家长会最怕的是听不懂还一直点头。其实礼貌打断完全可以,老师通常也愿意解释。你不需要假装都懂。
